Brandon Scales shows that you can balance serving God & being a millenial.
Diandra Marie had the opportunity to sit down with Brandon Scales, a drummer who has performed with Tye Tribbett, Donnie McClurkan, and PnB Rock to name a few. Brandon tells the story of how he received the keys to his church in order to practice. The drummer also shares his experience working with his favorite artist, Tye Tribbett, and how it impacted him.
As Brandon gives God glory for his drumming ability, he reveals he likewise struggled to find friends that related to him. Since he is considered a millenial, Brandon gives his insight on having fun and being a Christian. He confessed to Diandra that he is not perfect, but is fully aware that his life belongs to God.
Brandon then announces that God has led him to develop his own non-profit, Brand New Forever. The organization is focused on tackling social issues such as working to build up men and financial management. Overall, Brand New Forever is committed to creating an atmosphere to fellowship with others through open discussions and worshipping God.
Brand New Forever’s first event is titled “The Experience” and the topic is Identity. Details of the event are below:
Saturday April 29, 2017
Bethel Church of God in Christ
